Port City Lowdown is the weekly events digest for Wilmington, North Carolina and the greater Cape Fear region. Every Sunday morning we publish the week ahead — concerts, theater, comedy, food and drink events, festivals, family activities, and the local bar lineup — all in one place, all curated.

Daily highlights publish on Facebook each weekday morning. The full week's lineup goes out Sunday at 5:30 AM. Once a month we publish a "Worth The Drive" edition covering the bigger regional venues from Raleigh to Charleston.

Editorial Standards

Every event is verified against the venue's primary source (official site, ticketing partner, or venue social channel). Ticket links go directly to the venue or its authorized ticketing partner — never to scalper resale sites. We publish prices and times exactly as the venue lists them. When we get something wrong, we correct it.

Affiliate Partnerships

Port City Lowdown participates in affiliate programs with select ticketing partners. When we link to events with ticket pages (typically marked with a "Tickets ↗" button), some of those links are affiliate-tracked. The reader pays the same price either way — there's no markup. Affiliate revenue helps fund the paid Facebook reach that keeps the digest in front of locals.

We never let affiliate status influence which events get covered. The lineup is the lineup.
